Chun K. Hong is one of the founders of Netlist and has served as president, chief executive officer and director since our inception. Prior to Netlist, Mr. Hong was president and chief operating officer of Infinilink Corp., a communications software company based in Irvine, CA. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Viking Components, Inc., a memory manufacturing company based in RSM, CA. From 1983 to 1998, Mr. Hong held various management positions at LG subsidiaries in South Korea and in the U.S. He received a B.S. degree in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.S. degree in technology management from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Management.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has over 30 years of experience in financial planning and strategic transactions in technology companies. She joined Netlist in 2006 and helped take the Company public. Prior to Netlist, Ms. Sasaki served as Senior VP of Finance and Treasurer at eMotion, Inc., previously a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak, CFO of MicroNet Technology, and worked for many years in public accounting with Ernst & Young. Ms. Sasaki holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of California Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has over 25 years of Sales, Operations and Supply Chain management experience in the technology field. His expertise extends to Netlist China where he oversees supply chain, quality management and lean manufacturing. Prior to joining Netlist in 2001, he was President of Largent Corporation. Mr. Paik Hong holds a BS in Finance from American University and a certificate from the Stanford Executive Program.
Vice President of Engineering , has more than 25 years of electrical design and technical management experience. Prior to joining Netlist in 2003, Mr. Milton served as design engineer, project manager, hardware engineering manager and system engineering manager for PairGain Technologies/ADC Telecommunications. Mr. Milton began his career as a member of the technical staff at TRW where he designed hardware for ATM switching products. He holds a BSEE from UCLA (Magna Cum Laude) and an MSEE from the University of Southern California. Mr. Milton currently holds ten US patents.
Vice President of ASIC Engineering, brings more than 30 years of experience in integrated circuit (IC) development engineering. He was recently the Vice President of IC Engineering at Marvell, as well as at Cavium. Previously, he had a long tenure at QLogic Corporation, holding various positions including Principal Engineer and Vice President in the IC Engineering division. Mr. Gandhi holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a M.S. in Computer & Systems Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Executive Vice President and head of Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing, has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, procurement and design. Prior to joining Netlist in 2015, he served as executive memory procurement advisor to LG Electronics, Chief Marketing Officer of SK Hynix and Vice President of DRAM design at LG Semicon, Inc. Mr. Kim holds a BS in Material Engineering from Hanyang University and an MS in Material Science & Technology from Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology.
Vice President of Sales, has more than 25 years of experience in scaling businesses in the memory and storage space. Prior to Netlist, he worked at SMART Modular Technologies, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Worldwide Sales and Senior Director of Strategic Accounts in the Specialty Memory Division encompassing embedded/removable flash, rugged SSD, and all DRAM products. Mr. Levy previously worked at Netlist in the early 2000s as Global Account Manager for Dell. Mr. Levy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from The State University of New York – Farmingdale.
Vice President of Marketing, has 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and business development with extensive knowledge of the semiconductor space, specifically in the storage (flash, SSD) and memory (DRAM, NVDIMM) markets. Prior to joining Netlist, he was responsible for sales, business development and marketing at Viking Technology (Sanmina). He previously served as Director, Marketing for HGST and STEC. Mr. Ngo was also Marketing Chair for the Storage Networking Industry Association’s (SNIA) Solid State Storage Initiative (SSSI) and is currently on the Executive Board of the CCC, the organization that develops conferences such as Open Server Summit, Software Defined Infrastructure and Flash Memory Summit.
Patent Counsel, has more than 12 years of licensing, patent litigation and patent prosecution experience across a broad range of semiconductor technologies. He most recently served as General and Patent Counsel at Focus Universal, where he managed their patent harvesting and prosecution. He has also held legal positions at various IP law firms. Mr. Hobbs holds a BS in Physics from the United States Military Academy and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri. He received his JD from Chapman University School of Law.
Executive Advisor for HybriDIMM Engineering, has held progressively responsible positions in the field of technology for 37 years. Prior to joining Netlist, Mr. Alston was the Sr. Vice President of Engineering for QLogic where, for 31 years, he was responsible for the product engineering of storage and networking products. Mr. Alston has extensive experience bringing to market leading products in this industry. He received his Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Technology from Ohio Institute of Technology and currently holds eight US patents.
Executive Advisor Intellectual Property, has been counseling Netlist on its patent matters for almost a decade. Dr. Zheng has held legal positions at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, Maschoff Brennan, and Dorsey & Whitney, in addition to having her own practice. She also worked as an in-house counsel for Rambus, Inc. and Accelergy Corporation. Dr. Zheng received her JD from Santa Clara University and a PhD in physics from Stanford University, after obtaining her MS and BS in physics from Wuhan University in China.
