Chun K. Hong is one of the founders of Netlist and has served as president, chief executive officer and director since our inception. Prior to Netlist, Mr. Hong was president and chief operating officer of Infinilink Corp., a communications software company based in Irvine, CA. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Viking Components, Inc., a memory manufacturing company based in RSM, CA. From 1983 to 1998, Mr. Hong held various management positions at LG subsidiaries in South Korea and in the U.S. He received a B.S. degree in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.S. degree in technology management from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Management.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has over 30 years of experience in financial planning and strategic transactions in technology companies. She joined Netlist in 2006 and helped take the Company public. Prior to Netlist, Ms. Sasaki served as Senior VP of Finance and Treasurer at eMotion, Inc., previously a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak, CFO of MicroNet Technology, and worked for many years in public accounting with Ernst & Young. Ms. Sasaki holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of California Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations, has over 25 years of Sales, Operations and Supply Chain management experience in the technology field. His expertise extends to Netlist China where he oversees supply chain, quality management and lean manufacturing. Prior to joining Netlist in 2001, he was President of Largent Corporation. Mr. Paik Hong holds a BS in Finance from American University and a certificate from the Stanford Executive Program.
Vice President of Engineering , has more than 25 years of electrical design and technical management experience. Prior to joining Netlist in 2003, Mr. Milton served as design engineer, project manager, hardware engineering manager and system engineering manager for PairGain Technologies/ADC Telecommunications. Mr. Milton began his career as a member of the technical staff at TRW where he designed hardware for ATM switching products. He holds a BSEE from UCLA (Magna Cum Laude) and an MSEE from the University of Southern California. Mr. Milton currently holds ten US patents.
Vice President of ASIC Engineering, brings more than 30 years of experience in integrated circuit (IC) development engineering. He was recently the Vice President of IC Engineering at Marvell, as well as at Cavium. Previously, he had a long tenure at QLogic Corporation, holding various positions including Principal Engineer and Vice President in the IC Engineering division. Mr. Gandhi holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a M.S. in Computer & Systems Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations, has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and product management. Mr. Park previously worked at Netlist, having served for close to 15 years in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Sales Operations and Director of Flash & Samsung Products. He is the founder of Xram and a co-founder of Superlative Technologies. Mr. Park holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Vice President of Licensing, has more than 25 years of intellectual property licensing, litigation, and patent prosecution experience. He most recently severed as Senior Vice President, Licensing and Litigation at Acacia Research Group, where he was responsible for licensing and litigating patents in a variety of technologies. He also held licensing positions with Intellectual Ventures, Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola. Mr. Lucas holds a BS in Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Bloomington.
Vice President of Patents, has more than two decades of experience handling patent matters in federal court and before the PTAB on behalf of a diverse client base. He was most recently a Patent Litigation Partner in the Irvine office of Procopio where he took a lead role on patent cases involving various technologies ranging from biochemistry, material sciences, mechanical, to computer and Internet-related inventions. He started his legal career at Knobbe Martens after law school. Mr. Chan earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA.
